Spent the last day of a holiday weekend with a very dear friend, who brunched with me over mimosas, eggs, fried alligator, and shrimp and grits. I love living in Charleston (and of course this food is to die for), but not having her here on a regular basis is painful every time she visits. Here’s to hoping the new year brings her back home, and that she makes it home safe tonight.

My thoughts exactly on why I get easily offended at nice restaurants if I see others acting like idiots. Just because you’re on vacation doesn’t mean you can be a jerk. Some of us are there for the whole experience.
Couldn’t figure out why the whole house smelled like farts until I checked on this. Now I am no longer complaining.
